If you have set up a Direct Debit, it can take up to 6 business days for the first payment to be taken from your bank account therefore, If you choose your Direct Debit to start straightaway or in less than 5 business days’ time, there will be a delay before your first donation is taken.
Donations are only processed on business days, therefore sometimes the donation may be taken after your selected payment date.
The payment of repeat donations will also be delayed if a date does not exist. For example, if you selected 31st January as the date of the first payment, the February payment will be delayed until the first business day in March.
